Spring Valley High School opened in the fall of 1970. It will celebrate it's 50th graduating class during the 2019-2020 school year. 

Spring Valley Girls Soccer competes in Region IV of the AAAAA Classification. Along with 2 State Runners-up seasons, the Viking shave won 12 Region Championships and 3 Viking Cup Championships. Since 1990, the program boasts over 380 wins coming into the 2019 campaign.
